Workshops
Workshops are where the magic happens — I share my crafting expertise, you learn something new, and everyone bonds over fabric scraps and snacks (yes, snacks included). My studio is relaxed, beautiful, and the perfect place to unwind while making things with your hands with friends and fellow creatives. Interested? Email me and let’s make it happen!

Slow Stitch Workshop
Our most popular workshop, perfect for complete beginners and crafting enthusiasts. Strangers become friends, fabric scraps become joy, and you leave with a full heart and something you actually made. No targets, no pressure — just calm, mindful stitchery.
Basic Loom Weaving Workshop
An introduction to loom weaving where I break down this deceptively complex craft into bite-sized steps. Play with colourful yarn, learn the basics, and take home your very own mini loom. Beginners welcome.

Organic Circular Weaving Workshop
Create organic woven wall hangings using fabric scraps and yarn in a relaxed, no-math-required setting. Circular weaving skips the thread-counting circus of traditional weaving — just you, fellow crafters, and something beautiful taking shape.
Hand Knitting Workshop
Learn to knit with your bare hands (no needles!) using old t-shirts. Make rugs, coasters, and more while finally dealing with that hoard of shirts you’ve been guilt-keeping. Beginner-friendly gateway into the knitting world.

T-shirts Upcycling Workshop
Bring your old t-shirts, I’ll show you how to turn them into something pretty and useful. Easy, beginner-friendly, saves-the-earth approved. Great for kids 10+ and adults who’ve been meaning to “do something” with that drawer of ancient concert tees.
Mask Making Workshop
Ideal for kids 11-15 (though adults crush it too). Use mask-making as a tool for character-building and self-expression while I nudge everyone to think weird and think original. Less about technique, more about storytelling and letting imagination run wild.

Want to join my workshops?
I post all upcoming workshops on Instagram (@shohinigupta), so follow me there to stay in the loop. You can also slide into my DMs and ask to join my personal WhatsApp community group.
For People in Kolkata: Email or DM me (@shohinigupta) for workshop details. For obvious safety and privacy reasons, my address and phone number aren’t plastered on the website.
For People Outside Kolkata: I get it — flying to Kolkata for a workshop is a big ask. I don’t do online workshops (they defeat the whole point), but here’s the workaround: gather 6-8 friends and I’ll come to you, provided the logistics and costs work out. Road trip crafting, anyone?
For Organizations, Cafes & Creative Hubs: Want to host a workshop at your space? I’m all ears. Whether you’re a café looking to add creative flair to your calendar, a co-working hub wanting to bring hands-on workshops to your community, or an organization seeking team-building with a twist — let’s talk. DM (@shohinigupta) or email (inbox.shohini@gmail.com) me and we’ll figure out the details, the dates, and the terms. Promise it’ll be painless (and possibly involve snacks).
